Acceptable Use Policy — WiFi Analyzer

1Purpose

WiFi Analyzer is a technical tool designed for network security education, diagnostics, and authorized administration. It provides powerful capabilities — including WiFi scanning, WPS security checks, LAN device discovery, port scanning, DNS lookup, and SSL inspection — that must be used responsibly and lawfully.

This policy defines permitted and prohibited uses to ensure the App is used only for its intended, lawful purposes.

2Authorized Uses

The following uses are expressly permitted:

Scanning, auditing, and analyzing WiFi networks you own or administer;
Testing WPS vulnerability on routers you own or have explicit written authorization to test;
Running internet speed tests to measure the performance of your own internet connection;
Discovering and inventorying devices on local networks you own or administer;
Generating security reports on networks you own or administer;
Storing and viewing WiFi credentials you enter for networks you own or manage;
Sharing WiFi credentials via QR code for networks you own or are authorized to share;
Performing DNS lookups and SSL inspections for domains and hosts you own or administer, or for general educational purposes on public services;
Port scanning on servers and hosts you own or have been explicitly authorized to test;
Learning about WiFi security concepts via the Academy feature;
Professional network administrators performing authorized assessments of client infrastructure with documented written authorization.

Authorized use means you have the legal right and verifiable permission to test, scan, or access the target network, device, or system before using any App feature against it.

3Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

Unauthorized Network Access

Scanning, probing, or attempting to gain access to networks you do not own or lack explicit authorization to access.

Credential Theft

Attempting to capture, retrieve, or compute login credentials or WiFi keys for networks you are not authorized to access.

Unauthorized Surveillance

Using LAN Scanner or other tools to monitor, inventory, or profile devices on networks without the owner's consent.

Network Disruption

Interfering with, degrading, or disrupting the operation of any network, service, or connected device.

Automated Bulk Scanning

Automating or scripting the App to perform bulk or systematic scanning of networks, IP ranges, or hosts you do not own.

Covert Monitoring

Using the App to secretly or covertly monitor individuals, their devices, or their network activity without consent.

⚖️

Illegal Security Testing

Performing penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or security testing without verifiable written authorization from the system owner.

🚫

Any Illegal Activity

Using the App to violate any applicable local, national, or international law, including computer crime, privacy, and data protection laws.

4User Responsibility

You are solely and entirely responsible for:

Verifying that you have the legal right and authorization to use any App feature on any target network, device, or host before using it;
Ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction;
Any consequences — legal, financial, technical, or otherwise — that arise from your use or misuse of the App;
Obtaining and retaining documentation of any authorizations required for professional security testing activities.

Epsilon Developers does not monitor how users employ the App and cannot verify that use is authorized. The Developer will cooperate fully with law enforcement and legal authorities investigating misuse of the App.

5Enforcement

Violation of this AUP constitutes a breach of the Terms of Use and may result in:

Immediate removal of the App from Google Play Store;
Reporting of misuse to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
Legal action to recover damages caused by misuse;
Any other action available under applicable law.

Epsilon Developers reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of the App after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
