Terms of Use

1Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2Purpose of the App

WiFi Analyzer — WiFi Password & Security Scanner is designed to assist users in analyzing, monitoring, and improving the security and performance of wireless networks they own or are authorized to administer.

The App provides:

• WiFi network scanning and analysis
• WPS vulnerability detection and assessment
• Internet speed testing and performance diagnostics
• LAN device discovery and local network monitoring
• Network security scoring and detailed reporting
• Encrypted local storage of WiFi credentials you enter (WiFi Vault)
• QR code generation for authorized network credential sharing
• Network channel analysis and optimization recommendations
• DNS lookup and SSL certificate inspection tools
• Port scanning for authorized network diagnostics
• Security awareness and educational content (Academy)

3Authorized Use Only

You agree to use the App only on:

• Networks you personally own;
• Networks you administer on behalf of an organization; or
• Networks for which you have explicit, verifiable, written authorization from the network owner.

WiFi Vault: This feature stores WiFi credentials you enter for networks you own or are authorized to manage. It cannot read passwords saved by Android.

LAN Scanner: This feature may only be used on networks you own or administer. You must not use it to discover, scan, monitor, probe, or collect information about devices connected to a network without the express permission of the network owner.

WPS Checker: The WPS Checker may only be used to assess whether routers you own or are explicitly authorized to test have WPS enabled.

Port Scanner: Port scanning must only be performed on hosts, servers, and IP addresses you own or have been explicitly authorized to test.

DNS Lookup & SSL Inspector: These diagnostic tools must only be used for legitimate network diagnostics, security research on systems you own or administer, or educational purposes.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction before using any App feature.

4Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the App for any of the following purposes:

5App Permissions

The App requires the following device permissions to function. Granting permissions constitutes consent to their use as described below.

Revoking any permission through Android device settings may limit or disable the corresponding App features. Location permission can be revoked without affecting Speed Test, Academy, WiFi Vault, or Settings.

6Security Report Disclaimer

Security scores, WPS vulnerability indicators, risk assessments, recommendations, and reports generated by the App are informational and educational only. All security analysis is performed entirely on your device using a locally-shipped rule engine — no data is transmitted to external servers for analysis.

The Developer does not guarantee that:

• Any network is fully secure or immune from attack;
• All vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or risks will be detected;
• Security scores accurately reflect the complete security posture of any network;
• Following in-App recommendations will eliminate all security risks;
• The analysis constitutes a professional security audit, penetration test, or certified assessment of any kind.

Users remain solely responsible for the security of their networks, devices, and data.

7Speed Test Disclaimer

Internet speed test results are estimates and may vary due to network congestion, ISP throttling or limitations, device hardware capabilities, WiFi signal quality, distance to test servers, background application activity, and environmental conditions.

Speed tests connect directly to Cloudflare's public measurement infrastructure (speed.cloudflare.com). Your IP address is visible to Cloudflare during the test as part of the standard network request. WiFi Analyzer does not collect, log, or store your IP address from speed test requests.

Speed test results should not be considered guaranteed or certified measurements of network performance.

8LAN Scanner Disclaimer

The LAN Scanner discovers devices connected to your local network by sending ARP and ICMP probe packets to IP addresses within your subnet. This traffic is entirely local — it does not traverse the internet or leave your network.

The Developer does not guarantee that:

• All devices connected to the network will be discovered;
• Device identification, hostname resolution, or manufacturer inference will be complete or accurate;
• Device classifications (trusted or unknown) are definitive, final, or security-certified.

9WPS Vulnerability Check

The WPS Checker inspects nearby WiFi networks and reports whether each router has WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) enabled, flagging it as a potential security weakness. It does not compute, guess, or attempt WPS PINs, and it does not connect to or access any network.

You acknowledge that:

• This feature may only be used to assess routers you own or have explicit written authorization to test;
• Attempting to gain access to routers you do not own or are not authorized to test is strictly prohibited and may constitute an unlawful attempt to gain unauthorized access under applicable computer crime and cybersecurity laws;
• The App performs the WPS status check entirely on-device — no BSSID data or router information is transmitted to any server;
• A "WPS enabled" flag indicates a potential exposure, not a confirmed vulnerability — many routers with WPS enabled are not exploitable, and disabling WPS is the recommended fix;
• The App is not responsible and shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from misuse of this feature on unauthorized routers or networks.

10DNS Lookup & SSL Inspector

These diagnostic tools make outbound network connections to external hosts and DNS resolvers based on input you provide.

10.1 DNS Lookup

When you submit a domain name for lookup, a DNS query is sent to a public DNS resolver. The queried domain name is visible to the DNS resolver as part of the standard query. WiFi Analyzer does not log, store, or transmit the domains you look up to any server controlled by the Developer. DNS lookup results reflect the state of the DNS at the time of the query and may not represent the current or accurate state of any domain.

10.2 SSL Inspector

When you submit a hostname or URL for SSL inspection, the App establishes a TLS connection to that host to retrieve its SSL certificate details. The target host will see a connection from your device's IP address. WiFi Analyzer does not transmit the hosts you inspect to any server controlled by the Developer. SSL inspection results are informational only and should not be relied upon as a definitive security assessment of any host or certificate authority.

11WiFi Vault

The WiFi Vault lets you save WiFi credentials that you enter into the App's encrypted local database and view them later. It cannot read or display passwords saved by the Android operating system.

You acknowledge that:

• This feature is intended solely for storing credentials for networks you own or have explicit authorization to access;
• The App does not transmit, upload, or share saved credentials to any external server or third party;
• All credential information saved by this feature remains stored only on your device;
• Using this feature to store or share credentials for networks you do not own or are not authorized to access is prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence under applicable computer access, privacy, or data protection laws;
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device and preventing unauthorized access to credentials stored by this feature.

12QR Code Sharing

The App enables users to generate QR codes encoding WiFi network credentials for the purpose of convenient and authorized network sharing.

You acknowledge that:

• QR codes generated by the App may contain sensitive network credentials including the network name (SSID) and access password;
• QR codes are generated entirely on your device and shared only when explicitly triggered by you through a deliberate share or export action;
• The App does not transmit QR code content to any external server;
• You are solely responsible for the security and distribution of any QR codes you generate and share using this feature;
• Sharing a QR code containing network credentials with unauthorized parties may grant those parties access to your network — exercise caution accordingly.

13Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, graphics, trademarks, content, and functionality, is owned by or licensed to Epsilon Developers (Satyam Kushwaha and Anurag Mahajan).

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App where prohibited by applicable law;
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute substantial portions of the App or its content;
• Redistribute the App outside authorized distribution channels (Google Play Store);
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in the App;
• Create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.

14Subscriptions & Purchases

The App offers an optional PRO upgrade to remove advertising and unlock premium features. All transactions are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. The Developer does not directly collect or store your payment information.

14.1 Free Trials

Where a free trial is offered, it converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial expires. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged.

14.2 Cancellation and Refunds

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — PRO access remains active until then. For refund requests, contact Google Play support directly, as all billing is managed by Google. The Developer does not process refunds directly.

14.3 Price Changes

Subscription prices may change at any time. Google Play will notify you of any price increase before your next renewal. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

14.4 Restore Purchases

PRO status can be restored on a new device or after reinstalling the App using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App's Settings screen, using the same Google account that made the original purchase.

15Advertising

The free version of WiFi Analyzer displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. No advertisements are displayed to active PRO subscribers or lifetime purchase holders.

By using the free version of the App, you consent to the display of advertisements. Advertising providers may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, and interaction data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We have no control over the content of third-party advertisements.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by resetting or deleting your Android Advertising ID in your device's privacy settings. You may also upgrade to WiFi Analyzer PRO to remove all advertisements.

16Disclaimer of Warranties

The Developer does not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements;
• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects;
• Results obtained from the App will be accurate, complete, reliable, or current;
• Any errors in the App will be corrected;
• Security assessments generated by the App will identify all security vulnerabilities in your network.

Your use of the App is at your sole risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

17Limitation of Liability

The Developer is not liable for:

• Data loss or corruption arising from use of the App;
• Network outages, service interruptions, or ISP-related issues;
• Unauthorized access to your network or devices by third parties;
• Consequences arising from misuse of any App feature on unauthorized networks or devices;
• Actions taken based on security reports, vulnerability assessments, DNS lookups, SSL inspection results, or recommendations generated by the App;
• Data charges incurred from speed tests or other network-intensive App features;
• Any damages arising from use of third-party services integrated with the App.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, the Developer's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

18Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Epsilon Developers (Satyam Kushwaha and Anurag Mahajan), their affiliates, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the App;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
• Your use of any App feature — including the WPS Checker, LAN Scanner, Port Scanner, DNS Lookup, or SSL Inspector — on networks, devices, or systems you are not authorized to access or test;
• Any content you generate, export, or share using the App.

19Termination

The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that the Developer believes violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable.

Upon termination for cause, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 4, 13, 16, 17, 18, and 20 — shall survive.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it. Subscription billing obligations that arose before termination remain in effect and are governed by Google Play's billing terms.

20Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. You irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to proceedings in such courts on the grounds of venue or on the grounds that proceedings have been brought in an inconvenient forum.

21Miscellaneous

21.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer with respect to the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.

21.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

21.3 No Waiver

The Developer's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms at any time shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

21.4 Changes to These Terms

The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post a notice within the App for material changes. Changes become effective upon publication. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to any revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

21.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms to any third party without prior written consent from the Developer. The Developer may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
